The Eddie Lucio Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a fund that grants $500.00 dollar scholarships to Cameron, Willacy, Kleberg, Kennedy and Hidalgo County high school Graduates or GED graduates planning to enroll in a state funded institution of higher learning in Cameron, Kleberg, or Hidalgo County. Applicants must have cleared all admission requirements, registered for at least nine hours and must be American citizens.
Any High School Senior attending a public high school in Senate District 27. Students are encouraged to submit their applications to their high school counselor.
Each recipient of the Eddie Lucio Scholarship receives a one- time $500.00. The checks are made out to the student and the college.
